Brown Fintube offers a complete line of longitudinal fintubes designed to meet virtually any heat transfer requirement. Two basic types of fins are provided: Longitudinal solid and Longitudinal perforated. Both types are made by an electric resistance welding method that joins the fins integrally to the tube, assuring continuous high heat transfer efficiency. Fin heights range from approximately 3/16" to 1 ½". Parent tubes can range from 5/8" O.D. to 18" O.D. Metallurgy is completely flexible and can be tailored to meet exacting process material specifications. Non-ferrous longitudinally soldered fintubes in most admiralty brass and copper-nickel allows are also available.
