Flowserve, Flow Solutions Divisionam seal is designed to handle steam applications and to provide the benefits of a mechanical seal in sealing steam turbines. This seal offers virtually no contamination of bearing oil and the elimination of hazardous steam clouds. It features Wavy Face Technology that gives a mechanical seal non-contacting lift off operation and can also seal liquids under upset conditions. Also featured is a distortion resistant sleeve design and bellows design. The seal is available as both integral and detachable designs.
